Well, I expect rain initially Saturday night because of Dew's...

But hopefully it will readily turn to snow as quick as possibly and give use a lot of precipitation.

Been icy here sub zero, now a lot of ice has thawed and it's really wet and cold.

Not sure if I've had any showers this morning, needed my sleep.

Jesus, come on Wales... wake up on here

Ehh 2 Degrees here, sunny... expecting a shower or two soon if the Mountains don't swallow them all up.

Dereck for BBC Wales goes for snow Saturday night in many places, staying cold with many waking up to a covering possibly...

BBC has forecast snow Monday night for south wales. Temps still mild though 4/5C :l.

I hope we have lots on the weekend all over with the front coming down from the North.

Met Office have issued a warning for North Wales because of this so I guess they assume it'll turn to rain any further south .

Yeah looked quite nice didn't it

I think all/most of Wales will see something wintry up to the weekend.

(BTW what's all the capitals for?)

__

And Jamie don't worry about it, it should turn to Snow hopefully.

Watched the BBC Welsh weather dont think snow showers were mentioned for Saturday, however snow spreading SE overnight which could give a covering....also had snow symbol for sunday for the showers coming in.

Metoffice currently have not issued any further advisories for Wales, the one for North Wales still stands for Sunday.

Both the GFS 0Z and 06Z would give snow to us on the weekend, so thats good lets hope this is correct.

Forecast for Wales on the metoffice site will be updated later, going to be interesting to see what they have to say for us.

Those showers on the met office radar seem to be wanting to make it alot further west than maybe forecast, so who knows, may be a flake or two later this afternoon!!!

I would think later on this evening, some showers should make it towards the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia, (Snow Showers reported in Birmingham) they will probably die out after they hit higher ground though. This thread is not very busy at all yet, hopefully it will be busier over the weekend!

Trying to snow here in Ponty as well - just slightly at the moment - large black cloud moving in our direction though, so may be more on the way.

Still snowing - can see the end of the "shower" though. Didn't expect anything here today - might be the first of many "rogue" showers that gets through

Did any snow settle? What type of snowflakes? Sleet or proper snow?

If you havent got the Netweather radar you can use the Metoffice one of their website here: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/

Looks like some showers have come further west so the odd light snow shower cant be rulled out
