Started with sleet here about 7am then turned to heavy hail, then sleet and now snow!!, Very dark clouds gathering along coast so looks likes more snow on the way. Snow is lying on the car but roads and pavements still wet, actually chilly in the wind but not quite cold enough yet to stick well.

It has been snowing for an hour and half in Dundee and it isn't lying :drinks:

There was a wee dusting though on the road across from Fife this morning.

Yep, been snowing heavily here in Edinburgh for about 20 min. Beginning to lie on grass and cold surfaces. Forth streamer perhaps.....:(

Temps are forecast to drop and if this lot freezes its going to be an interesting commute. Watch out for ice everyone and stay safe!

btw, it's hasn't really stopped here, just lightens off and then gets heavier again, we must just be in the right spot for the wind to be leaving it with usas I can't find a nearest webcam to show you, here's a try at a pic - btw there's meant to be more village and some hills in the background :D

Bit of a dropped catch by Heather the Weather last night. The synoptics were screaming East coast/Central belt impact but she emphasised it as more of a NE Scotland impact.
