It's a huge advantage today that the wind is very light. If it was stronger, it would have raised the temperatures (Irish sea influence!)

Just checked the dewpoint and it's -1c so it will be snow here.

nice looking showers moving across the irish sea out of sw scotland, heading this way, temp 0.2c rising slowly but the temps fall in the showers...

quite a strong westerly wind shown for later and tonight so no low temps as shown

Just looking at the radar - It's recorded some lightning strikes within the next shower cloud. It's going to be either VERY heavy snow - Or pea sized hail!!

The cloud coming over me now is running along the airport runway from west to east and is a much lighter grey than the last one.

I don't know how I'm going to cope when I go home from work at 1 pm and have no view!!!!

Just had another heavy hail/snow shower here, more on the way for this afternoon by the looks of of. Hope the temp stays down. Currently 1.3c.

It's pathetic, we get short bursts of heavy snow, followed by prolonged rain - This is going to last all day this rain I bet - We have yet again avoided a covering of snow.

Snow more showery now, and more worringly its much wetter and the temperature has increased quickly in the last hour from -1.4 to -0.1

Time for the showers to push away if they are going to turn to rain!!
