Well the trough behind the front looking more like a streamer now, intensifying further and looks likely to give another 1-2 inches for areas it falls across

Terrific stuff, and an unfolding situation to watch on sunday

Thanks. Is that what was forcast?

Pretty much though not as much south - more SE. Though obviously who would get snow, and how much, is always difficult to predict even in these situations

Well i'd happily take more heavy snow at the weekend drinks.gif still chucking it down with light snow was almost a full on blizzard before however its not settling very well sad.gif .

EDIT: A thaw is setting in nowclosedeyes.gif .

Thanks for that, still snowing here, getting heavier and drifting in the strong winds.

Hopefully it'll carry on for the afternoon so that the sun can't come out!

having been out in it, it is really nice snow, even though there isnt as much as most places

can't hear it melting, even the roads aren't slushy despite a few cars driving over, i've never know that before!

Hmmm, Temp and DP are rising, 0.4c and -0.8c. That's not good.

And my location seems to be sliding between the two areas of ppn that are moving SW :whistling:

That band of snow certainly looks like it is moving south west towards Bristol and on the radio they just said there is another weather advisory for more snow this afternoon! Not looked for any updates on Meto yet though.

Without sounding like some kind of snow junkie, this snow seems to be of good quality, quite powdery compared to last feb!

Not that im obsessed with snow or anything :D
