well im fed up with looking at the free radar on meteox/ metoffice/ norwegian weathersite (www.yr.no (quite good if u understand norwegian like myself)

As they are free they aren't much help for weather in my local area,

do many of you use the netweather radar?? and would you recommend it??

im thinking of getting a 1 month subscription to see what it's like

Hi,

I use the NW radar everytime there is some decent (fun) weather to be watched (Rain/Snow/Wind/Thunder) and i find it well worth the money & 100% better thn them free ones IMHO. :acute:

It is lovely to find somewhere that you feel you belong. I have worked in a lot of places in the UK but I'm a northern girl at heart even though I have technically never lived there!! It's where I always go when things get tough and its where I feel safest. I have never really been to Norfolk, except on the Broads and that was an exceptional summer weatherwise.

Know how you feel always feel most at home in the Lake District, but have a business to run down here, c'est la vie

That's why I have been living in Milton Keynes for 5 years!! I have an opportunity to move up north later in the year but I don't think Mr Doozer would be too keen on a llllllloooooooooooonnnnnnngggggg distance realtionship! :acute:

Click on the Union Flag top left for English

I have NW radar but am not convinced by it. Seems to fill in what you have seen after you see it! On the other hand meteox overcooks it so it is handy to watch both and then take the middle. If meteox was correct for this late afternoon/evening I would have had snow on and off for 9 hours now. There are other sites too

Sometimes NW is right other times others are correct. I have 11 tabs open on my browser atm!

I've looked at the other radars, I think they are much of a muchness, not hugely different

Blast, only 8 tabs.

Well, after a thoroughly boring day snow-wise from the cab of a bus, it is snowing here at this very moment. Probably just for a few mins though...
