How much did you get? I got a slight dusting again :(

Must admit slighlty hopeful we will see a wee bit more before morning :(

For the past 2 nights Ive woken up to more snow in the morning, I would say we could still have showers coming off the North Sea 12 hours from now!

Yes I was watching that as well. It came from the east side of the wash. I think we need showers more from the west side of the wash. Are direction of the showers due to change later ?

Dont know mate.

i hope they come from the west side of the wash biggrin.gif

Ah...back home now and catching up with the whole new area. I always wonder...where on earth is West Anglia?

Saw the latest forecast from the BBCV and disappointed to see it reflects the gut feel i've had during the day that the main belt of snow is going to be mainly south with London upwards getting barely a dusting.

In some ways i feel this thread split is just in time... i don't want to read all thoses "bundles of snow here" posts from the people in Kent :D

but, i think as has already been referred to, we in the 3CR bit of this thread will probably have to have eyes open everywhere because we are surrounded by places the weather can come from, but it's never going to originate from us!

I think the BBC forecasts will change for the better by the morning, because all three major models predict quite heavy snow and the snow reaching quite far north
