Can someone please explain this radar shot.

Showers clearly coming over the channel from Calais.

What about the large band in South Central France? Headed our way or not?

Wonderful scenes here atm. Very heavy, blowing snow :blink:

I cant belive its reported on here to the south of us have little snow: Its been very heavy with often white out here since 11.0am..Just been out to mesure and we have 9" of lying snow. with some drifts nearly up to 2 foot..and its still snowing..big flakes as well..think Iam in for the week..

14 miles between junctions 8 (Leeds Castle) and junction 9 (Ashford North). I know what you mean!

and still the blizzards continue...

Stupid white van keeps going past our house at 1mph with 'Rent a Van' on the side. It's the only vehicle I've seen all day on our estate

Very dark clouds over Brighton but only light snow ,are we going to get the big white stuff lol?

its basically falling out of the sky here at the moment - very heavy!! if it carries on like this just til this evening we'll have in excess of 7/8 inches I reckon!

Flakes are much bigger here now and it really is belting it down!

Temp dropped to 0c DP still -3 Winchill -7. Im assuming the main band is going to move due west as opposed to NW or SE?
