Unbelievably, BBC News 24 still have the same recorded forecast, saying that the snow won't settle in London!!! There must be someone there to advise people who are just waking up for the commute??

I'm sure I just spotted Boris on his bike frantically pedaling to the BBC studios to deliver some grit. :drinks:

Sky News and all the other forecasters have got egg on their faces yet again :drinks: :drinks: :help:

Sky News have now said that the snow will continue in the SE until 12pm :help:

Boris will demand answers from the MetO as to why they did not forecast at least an inch of snow for the Capital

About an inch of snow here overnight and still light flakes falling, everything nicely covered again :drinks:

Lovely and white again, but is it enough to stop me getting to work today? :drinks:

It may well last well past midday in London, but it is definitely getting lighter, so a thaw may start soon, all depends on the temps and how heavy the ppn is etc.

Anyway, I have FINALLY been rewarded for staying up all these nights, there is just over an inch of snow on bins, garden table etc, so the best fall since February for me.

Well it is way past my bedtime! Hope everyone that wanted snow got some, and please take care all!

Scott.

Just woke and looked out the window to.... a thin snow covering. I am so surprised, having gone to bed with it raining and a temp of 2.2C.

Temp now 0.9C and it is still snowing. Don't want it to move away now but looking at the rainfall radar it soon will.

But so happy to see some more.

About 1" of snow in Bromley.

Snowfall is generally light, occasional moderate bursts.

I estimate the snow is falling at between 0.5 and 1cm per hour.

The roads are covered, even the main roads, though increased traffic is clearing some of this.

Everywhere is very slippery
