UK Outlook for Sunday 11 Mar 2012 to Sunday 25 Mar 2012:

Northern and some western parts of the UK are expected to continue to be affected by spells of unsettled weather. As such, rainfall amounts here are likely to be near average with temperatures often near normal or mild for the time of year. Elsewhere, conditions will tend to be more settled so rainfall amounts will probably be average or below average, especially in eastern and southern Britain, whilst temperatures are most likely to be close or just above average, but still with a risk of overnight frost.

UK Outlook for Saturday 17 Mar 2012 to Saturday 31 Mar 2012:

The largely unsettled theme to the weather is expected to continue for the first part of the period, with near average amounts of rainfall across the country. However, there are indications of some quieter weather introducing itself towards the end of March, at least across southern parts of the UK, with much drier conditions. Temperatures are expected to be above average nationwide throughout the period.

Well today's update says cooler periods possible "particularly in the north and southeast" rather than just the "north". Maybe some signs of wintry weather?

I wonder why nobody has posted this,

UK Outlook for Monday 12 Mar 2012 to Wednesday 21 Mar 2012:

Largely dry and settled through this period, with mostly light winds as high pressure lies in the vicinity of the UK. It will be rather cloudy at times, with the best cloud breaks appearing to the lee of high ground. Some patchy light rain and drizzle is possible across exposed parts of the northwest, particularly towards the weekend. With time there is a chance of more persistent rain affecting western areas, with only a low chance of any significant rain across southeastern Britain. Night-time minimum temperatures will generally be very variable, with a continuing risk of occasional fog and frost, perhaps more likely in southeastern areas as a consequence of the increased likelihood of cloud breaks here. Meanwhile, maximum temperatures should be generally around or a little above normal throughout.

UK Outlook for Monday 26 Mar 2012 to Monday 9 Apr 2012:

Southern and southeastern areas are likely to remain mainly settled during the last week of March, with rainfall probably remaining below average and temperatures likely to be average or above average, although some cooler periods are possible. Northern and northwestern areas are likely to remain changeable with some dry and bright periods, but also with a chance of some wet and windy weather too. Temperatures here will probably be nearer to average. There are some signs of more generally unsettled weather affecting the UK at the start of April though, which suggests both temperatures and rainfall could be around average in most areas.
