Typical!! I have cold air but not enough precip, you have the precip but not enough cold air. We could do a deal. I'll give you some of my cold air and you can give me some of your precip. Like a timeshare but with the weather smile.gif

I might not need the swap in another hour! whistling.gif

Its now a mix of sleet and wet snow!! excl.gifbiggrin.giflaugh.gif

never expected this so early?

And north-east Scotland :)

Lucky duckies.

I suspect the weather warning writer will be earning his/her crust today and tomorrow

I think If we can see some wintry ppn already up on high ground there maybe a chance this evening and over night?

Still sleet with the odd flake but its better to watch than rain.

The charts seem convinced it will stay around 1/2c with sleet and wet snow here all day tommorow, im thinking the winds will be strong enough to modify it to being 4/5c with rain instead.

Temp has dropped to 5.7c after being 9.6c around midday! So a 4c drop in about an hour!

Staverton in Gloucestershire recording 11c while Yeovilton is at 5c, a 6c difference in approx 50 miles!

pretty impressive really, looked at temperature around 11.30am and it was like 7.9c and hammering it down with rain then i looked outside an hour later and thought how the hell is it sleeting but then looked at temp and it dropped to less than 4c!

still light sleet here i need another temperature drop me thinks. dry.gif

Its been snowing here since this morning although it isnt really sticking, still i like the novelty factor of seeing it snow this late in the season (although ive seen it snowing later of course).

Now if they would just join up in the middle...

Part of me is hoping for a huge dump of snow. The other part of me is hoping it misses me as I need to get out and about tomorrow.

30-50cm for some parts of the SE of Scotland

John Holmes said the other day that this could be interesting...

I'm still hoping to see some more red on the map...but it looks like they ran out of ink.

I'm starting to think I would really like a huge dump of snow, baby scans at the hospital for MrsCatch can wait
