I wouldnt worry about that Twister,those small charts are extremely un-accurate

at the best of times.

the warnings are often more the thing to follow

Bouncing it down here. Rain rate 15.4 mm at the moment. No thunder though. Now 24.6 mm rain rate.

Does anyone have any idea why there is nothing over south east wales?? or is it just the storm shield again lol! Lots of cloud around but no sign of showers/storms anytime soon!

Lightest of rain showers here in the London Bridge area - in fact, even that seems to have stopped now :rolleyes:

I'm a 5 min walk from London Bridge and we didn't have any rain, lol :D Now that is what you call a shower :D

Ah I see the met have left quite a swath across the middle on england & wales free from their flash warnings. I call on the weather gods to seek revenge for this, even though Im sure its based on some important fundamentals.

a little patience I think mate - warning is out from 1015 - 2100 on meto - so things should develop + we are slap bang in the middle of the estofex storm warning - just watch things develop

Can see a fairly large one to my northeast, so must be over Sittingbourne way

Most of the rain looks likely to miss my area today. We deserve some decent dry weather. I'm not a big fan of storms either.

Well today the met office have got the warnings right. If it keeps this rate up I'll have to revise my heaviest rainfall records.

Davis reckons 21.6 mm of rain since 09:00 although it maybe over doing it. Still no thunder but I expect the normal floods in Sheffield.
