ok this is not brilliant...But it was far away zoomed in through the rain.....tried to get rid of the noise..but not much luck..

was definatley a small funnel...you could see it spinning..

then 10 mins later yet another in the same area..

wow loud Thunder boom here

torrentail rain here...more thunder

was looking south i think seemed very close to where i am in arle, think we are on the edge of the storm

lol.....only a standard Thundery shower stu to be honest...not much lightning and thunser

the two funnels I saw were the best and rotation above....

thx ..Twister...will check the video camera then was pointing that direction.....but your 4 miles from here ...might make a diference...booms in the back ground far away here

Looks like the line of showers are just a tad south from here.

I can see clear skies to my north and rain to my south.

No more thunder or lightnin...

that deep thunder is coming from Winchcombe.....lights just flickered

More or less right under the wind convergence line at the minute. Sky keeps getting brighter then darker all the while as cloud bases move around. Wind keeps changing direction going all the way from sw to ne and back again. Getting large drops of convective rain too but only a sprinkling. Hoping it starts to kick off soon, looking forward to a storm

sky change direction....dark over Cleeve heading I think here...where the thunder sounds are

All gone quiet now with rain dying and mammatus forming. Also the sun is poking through, perhaps something a bit later?

there is more to come according to the radar...was very heavy and prolonged...

Wow! I can't believe what I've just witnessed, none of you are going to believe me!

0.2mm in the rain gauge since god knows when and it has just stopped. There's hope for this dust bowl yet.

[Evening thunder]

Wow.. really is quite an impressive CB cell to my north now.. seems to be getting closer/bigger too.. am trying to time lapse it, would post pics but Netbook is being temperamental.. Looks intense on Netweather radar and it has the look of 'Thunderstorm' on it.

Yep, Lightning detected on it now Has gone from not much to some of the better convection I've seen in the UK in probably less than 30 minutes. Nice spreading out anvil getting closer

here in weybridge in a rural spot with my 35mm ,incredible storm cells w to ne horizon ,one cumulonimbus top reaching greats height another top keeps smooth rounding off ,very impressive!

Showers are building up in south west herts so looking like a direct hit. Looks very dark to the south and some interesting cloud bases just to the west of here.
