I'm assuming close to the high street? Generally around 60-80m.

Yeah we have a fair amount of snow it seems, only going by sight it looks around 3cm. Big flakes falling and generally moderate snow. :w00t:

Temperatures are slowly dropping and should bring the lying snow level down a fair bit. Hopefully you'll be joining in on the action soon.

Current temp -0.5c, DP -0.9c.

Was -0.2c when the front arrived.

Moderate snow after rain and sleet.

According to my brother in east Leeds, (90 meters asl), it's slushy and has only left a dusting on the grass.:D

Cookridge, so not far from you. My elevation is in my signature.

My brother in east Leeds is telling me the snow is getting heavier and is settling more rapidly.

Light snow here looks like evaporative cooling has done the job. Netweather radar thinks it's rain lol.

Precipitation started off as sleet and ice pellets here but turned to snow by about 0600. Snowing steadily now and everything white over, about 2cm at a guess.

Turned to snow here for the last hour quite moderate but a bit wet

cars and grass covered trying to cover the paths and roads

Did not expect this at my elevation and from what certain people stated on this site

Suppose it is difficult to call when so close!!!!!!

Well, we'll see, I'm due to be working early tomorrow, setting off for Leeds at 6.00 am, might be an interesting drive.

0.4c, -1.2c speed of temperature fall tailing off now, can't see it getting much lower if at all

Well, as expected, had to use the 4WD to get out of the village at 5.45 am this morning, whilst it was only 3-4 cms that's enough to make it too risky on the hills in the Focus. Snow was settled on all surfaces at least 2-3 cms, probably more. Cars, (what few that were about), absolutely crawling on all the main roads until got onto the M62, which was white on outside twp lanes down to jct 25. Snowing all the way to East Leeds, but not laying. Has been snowing ever since and now started to lay even here. Wonder what the depth is back at home by now.
