That cell just east of Manchester looks like a small supercell you'd see state-side.

Is that cell in the SE anaprop or real?

There are some developed clouds on sat24, so looks real.

NW 5min radar

Paul

There is a great chance of Tornadoes today and would love to be positioned just SE Of that, as you say the shape is fantastic.

Here in the SE The Cumulus Field is better than I expected with some really nice Convection going on towering up and then turkey towering and splitting off. Temperature needed to set something off has been reached.

yes something approaching tunbridge wells

I can see towers to my East and North, can't see anything from the south (Kent direction) but the haze is incredible!

Something has indeed gone up over the Weald of Kent (Topographical ??) and is producing Sferics already. Also something gone off west of Norwich.

From the looks of the skies we could be seeing a lot more than was anticipated in the SE, Camiscool should be pretty happy and it goes to show T-Storms will not follow any rules. :drinks:

Looks like something over Sheffield which seems to be coming my way. Can anybody report what's happening there?

Well I'm in Dronfield, smack bang in between you and Sheffield, and there has been quite a few rumbles of thunder to the north and northeast. It has all come from the original cell that developed over Banrsley a couple of hours ago. Hopefully it'll keep backbuilding! :D

Sat images are showing some intense convection over Brum so could be real..

Wow, Pretty damn accurate for the storm further north..

Quite glad I'm not in Barnsley

at the moment it is dry where I am hope it lasts

or if it does happen I hope it's not as bad as the one further north

I said earlier I expected Wisbech to be in the sweet spot come 4pm and the latest radar is backing up those thoughts.
