A rumble just before noon, but now it's sunny...

Just rain here i'm afraid! AM radio detecting strikes about every minute or so. Anyone know if a fresh line of cells are gonna pop up later this evening for the east?

I've had my AM radio on all morning till now and not a hint of lightning down here!

Same here, big clouds with very dark bases in almost every direction but here with the sun almost constantly beating down there has not been so much as a single drop of rain, whereas places just a few miles away have had shower after shower.

Same old story here again today. Always manage to fit through the dry slot, gets frustrating after a while.

Dark and angry clouds to my west.

Radar showing some nice echoes too - no lightning yet though (as far as I can tell)

Looking outside I cant see the black angry skies....yet

Not seen anything today and unfortunately still remain in the no storms club :(, and interesting to see a drought has been declared. Ironic that drought declared in Licolnshire and its now getting pasted.

Am still hopeful I might see at least a heavy shower today, fingers crossed anyway.

I think your time will come hughsey. The Lincs CZ will drift south this afternoon. The radar is already showing a cell north of Peterborough.

I believe I am detecting the strikes that are apparent on the radar just North of the Wash.

Cluster of downpours just entering London now are looking good - not electric though from what I can see (though wouldnt rule it out just yet)

For my region, appears there is little firing behind, meaning the trough could be our last punt for the day.
