Right lets see how good the MetOffice really are, just updated at 22:41 - it expects that London will get a Thunder Shower at 1am!

One weak yellowy flash off to the east of me (feltham Sunbury Middx) lit up the clouds... Oh heck I'm back to work tommorrow after a week off waiting for storms!!! Do I stay up, or head for Blanket Road, Bedfordshire central.....

Right heading off now, had a great night here in Brighton, lightning, heavy rain and gusty winds!

Would stay up but back up to London tomorrow to move flat, good luck all hope the storms kick out a gew CG's for the inland guys!

Trust the East to get there storms errrr,Maybe the site should be renamed Netweather East or East weather lol know point us westerners being here :(

Still a good few cells producing some sferics but for me it's bedtime but with curtains open!

Rain getting heavier and heavier here.

There's an indication of intensification to the SW of here, so who knows....might squeeze out the odd flash and bang :D

Sitting at home near the top of Bluebell Hill, and I can swear I've seen some flashes from a long way away and a rumble or two. Nothing directly observed - but it got me out of bed and logged on just in case! Had quite some heavy rain over the last ten minutes or so, too ...

Nothing since last post - just watching planes depart heathrow, on an ever so slightly more south eastern track than normal.... but blitzortung has died out and iow......... need to not be tired tomorow so giving it one more ciggarette time, then....we'll see!!!

Nothing beats it, lol! I would love to see a Suepercell head northbound, get the Orographic affect then the urban affect, does anybody remember this happening? Most UK Supercells Ive know have just scraped KENT!
