I'm off to bed - I am a light sleeper, and if it is a decent thunderstorm, it will wake me up. I have my windows open, and will sleep with one eye open - Good luck everyone good.gif

I like my sleep too much to stay up but will have the windows open and blinds only halfway down so i can see an hear it if it rolls in.

It's beginning to look more and more like a Non event right now, I can't see at this stage where any storm will come from, and even the PPN looks to be breaking up as it closes in on land :(

I can hear something in the distance, but it's the sound of a fat lady singing :(

There's a bloke combining up the back of my fields, shall I nip out and tell him he's got about 4 hours? :D

GFS has everything now pushing NE, with between midnight and 3am the best time for those on the south coast to see anything that's around before things quickly dissipate with cooling. More cells around the LP center firing off close to Rennes that will provide more instability for the next coming hours to come. If nothing is still around by 3am then there'd be no point staying up any later.

Currently watching the distant light show over Belgium. It looks like a monster. Shame it's 90 miles away.

Hmmm not so convinced now i have just checked the last three hours meto rainfall radar the line of a band that is more sw to the main band seems to be loosing its intensity as it approaches landfall. And the main band coming up from France has taken a big dive NE wards. Judging by this at the moment i would say it will be lucky to clip the furthest SE coast. I hope i am wrong on this but i get that feeling.

Staying up but as usual the Heat/Thunderstorm hoggers of France has the big storms while we get squat, maybe tommorrow morning something will happen, not getting hyped up about it though.

Sat24 seems to be confirming that Frenchie is breaking up

Sadly in Northern France she seems to be starting to get a lil close to Explodie in Belgium!

We envy you Belgium!

Before righting Frenchie off, let's just wait for it to hit land???

If it doesn't hit land, or doesnt intensify it's time to hit bed, and once again forecasts where wrong.

Well that's it folks off to bed - this may well invigorate inland but its a write off for me. Any decent core is decaying/staying in the Channel and no sign of anything electrical - just hope we get some rain at least!
