Just a rather cold night on offer here in Southern England after the rather quick rainfall from earlier, we now have clear skies and the temperature is a rather chilly 3.4c, Dewpoint is at 1.6c.

Yes the people up in Northern England and Scotland have been lucky and experiencing snow. We have just got to be patient,we will have snow at some point, good things come to those that wait!

This is actually horrible. I can't honestly see any showers hitting us at all.

was outside 15 mins ago and saw a coating of either snow or hail on the cars outside (south manchester wythenshawe, by the airport)

looked more like snow than hail though

Still a very chilly and clear night with light westerly breeze now, temperature down to 2.4c, dew point is -0.2c. Hopefully there will be a frost tonight

A good covering of snow has just been put down here in Macclesfield, and still coming down at a fair rate too. A nice bonus as I wasn't expecting anything until tomorrow.

No chance of getting any showers here as the wind direction is to, despite the clear skies to the temperature is refusing to drop below 1c so no sign of a frost yet.

It feels very cold out in the wind,dry here and clear, ice is starting to form on the roads and paths they are damp from some rain showers we had today.

I looked on some radars and it said thunder was in Macclesfield right now? So is it thundersnowing?
