non event alert bt.its to wet and gfs has my temps above freezing all night anyway.

It was always tomorrow that interested me.

Is the Irish sea forecast to wake up or what? It's gone to sleep on me ATM.

what do you think for us tonight feb1991blizzard?

Im not convinced about anything too significant, though a light dusting, 1 inch maybe, the forecasts all say yes, support from GFS and NAE. Whats your altitude?

Didn't notice that lol. Shame the temperature is rising... Up to 5.6C now! Dewpoint I think is how much moisture is in the air. At 0C the air is dry and therefore more conductive to snow.

Technically you can get snow at 8c but that tends to be in spring northerly setups.

5c is to high for snow, the air would cool with ppn and so it would eventually turn to snow.

It was only snow in he heavier bursts, which it what I expected. Oh well, it looks like I will have to find the snow myself if it won't come to me :good:

There was a photo before the Calendar weather of somewhere up in the Pennines which showed a couple of inches of wet snow.
