John , Andy -the two of you are within a few miles of me though slighly more elevated and its still 4 degrees here is it the same where you are - did someone say its 2.5 in Cardiff? Strange?

Me but I don't really live in Cardiff. I live on the border of RCT and Cardiff North on a hill surrounded by fields so lol. Actual Cardiff will be far warmer

Steve it's still 3.6°C for the last hour up here after rising steadily the previous hour. Pressure is dropping slightly though.....

No snow as yet in the Ceiriog (4 miles from Llangollen). Cloudy sky that doesn't look snowy. Temps around 4 degrees.

Somewhat disappointed with country tracks forecast. Could be better (but I guess it could be worse). No mention of an upgrade either which is not good imo.

Probably because the precipitation is only light, and would take an age to accumulate.

yes looks like we will be borderline in the South East - but things can change very quickly - get the cold in first then anythings possible- still a good 6 weeks or so of winters best to come

A good Countryfile forecast for very cold weather given the range of possibilities. They have took the dry, cold route, even they don't know the snow potential Thursday onwards, such as convective or battleground.
