Can anyone else with NW radar or a reliable Euro radar confirm if there is a organised 'blob' of showers just to the N and NW of Leuwarden...shows up of the NW Extra Euro radar...doesn't look like anaprop and would fit in with heading our way this evening....was the same stuff I saw earlier.....

I am trying to be realistic and understand that we may not get what is predicited but it's pretty hard when you look at some of these charts. BBC News 24 weather has just shown what looked like some snow showers down our way for Friday night.

As I'm aware we are expecting light snow showers overnight, giving no more than a dusting for much, which the radar is currently reflecting, so i'm confused as to what you are expecting?

I think here in thanet we may see no snow this weekend due to the slight shift westward, but if that prolongs the cold then i personally can put up with that even though i love snow.

temp at the moment -0.6c/ dewpoint -7c/ and windchill is -3.1c/ humidity is 62%

More than one radar is showing up a sudden burst of activity like a Thames streamer forming!!!

Think it's an error.....but anyone over Chelmsford way confirm it?

Looks like a radar error, you can see it follows segments of the radar circles.

Surely someone else must have the Extra radar...quite a large and active blob heading this way by the looks of it and the passage over the N Sea would only boost it....
