Latest PPN type radar, don't take it as gospel but you get the idea.

Snow is nowhere near as widespread as predicted.

I'm not disagreeing with you that it's marginal for Western areas, BUT the NW PPN-type Radar is well known for being, well... tosh. :p

As I've been saying all along, don't get your hopes up. Another nail in winters coffin if this goes t**** up.

Main roads are ok due to the amount of traffic not letting the snow settle, side roads now have a covering of snow. Just constant snow.

You just wait for the Greenlad high. Give it 10 days.

light covering dodge but its on the verge of getting sleety here in ashton so i would imagine same for you.

Cheers, HD - hope for something more 'snowy' later on. Still lots of precip out to the west.

Well looking at the current situation it's not a million miles away to be honest after all the reports from around the region. Not 100% accurate I agree.

oh dear rain in stockport now it really is turning into a bit of a mare

I strongly suspect HD that unbeknown to yourself you are in fact a mild weather demi-god and you cast an aura of mildness in a 1 mile radius of your location, can you keep sending us your present location so we can avoid you.

Really hope so because this winter so far has been a real let down compared to the last. Normal winter service resumes, mild zonal mush with the odd cold interlude that amounts to nothing. :(
