Yesterdays FAX charts showing today was always going to be an 18 hour event, which we are now 2 hours into and still have another 16 hours for all of this afternoon, evening, and tonight to look forward to many twists and turns. The current undercutting of the 850hpa sub DAM air by the cold front again, occlusional forcing across the region, likely topographic lifting of showers, stalling of this warm front which is already underway, freezing rain again which has already occured, and who knows what else.

It's 16 hours too early to be calling it a non-event just yet.

Latest PPN type radar, don't take it as gospel but you get the idea.

Snow is nowhere near as widespread as predicted.
