where is it going to come from tho HC,the band looks to be weakening all the time now and i certianly have seen nothing approaching heavy.

added to that its incerdibley marginal for even the east nowt about the poor west if the region.

Despite some hvy precip already across N Eng heaviest snow is likely near 6pm in association with the 'triple point'http://pic.twitter.com/2E70jcCG

Looking marginal even here now, mainly snow but i hint of sleet creeping in, whatever it is its certainly slowing the traffic down.

Just had a look in the SW thread, heavy blowing snow in Somerset 140m ASL - Do they even have a warning!

Freezing sleet/ icy rain here currently with leaves covered in icy droplets with a few small icicles hanging off the garage roof.

Can we call the snow a non event yet?? :cray:

Ha, thought I saw snowflakes falling then, it turns out it was my Pampas grass blowing in the wind, :rolleyes:

I thought i saw an odd flake, hmm think i need to change my shampoo brand to head & shoulders lol.

Just had a look in the SW thread, heavy blowing snow in Somerset 140m ASL - Do they even have a warning!

Currently on the bus into Manchester. Light snow picked up just passing through rusholme. Should be ok for more snow later
