To those still panicing in the east......relax, its on the way if it hasn't already arrived yet. Its been snowing here for 3 hours now and getting heavier. A normally busy main road yards from me is almost deserted, and some train services ( which run just yards from my front door ) have been suspended.

I've yet to see rain in my point of Brighton but I am up high near Surrenden..! I'm even gonna say it's snowing quite moderately!

When I lived up near the top end of Surrenden we always had snow whilst it was sleet or rain next to the coast. That little bit of elevation always made the difference.

A solid level 10 here- snow piling up fast

S

Its getting good Steve isn't it, once it starts its pretty decent, just anoying having to wait for it to arrive!

White starting to show through on the grass now, a dusting now sums it up nicely. LONG way to go yet guys as well, heavier stuff still a long way away!

Yeah mate, probably a 7, increases quiote rapidly ponce the deeper stuff arrives, you've got anout 5-10 mins for moderate snow.

Dusting now on the floor, a slight dusting but settling everywhere, including the roads...my profiles very similar to southend but likely a shade cooler temps.

Yes Kold, level 7 and moving to 8, dusting everywhere now, as your only up the A13, must be on the same level? Getting very interesting now and loads more to come! :good:
