Good job there's nothing on telly tonight ...

Wife's watching Stormchasers recorded from last night, I'm staring out the window at real weather (till MoTD starts, anyway).

Level 2 down in the valley...

I'm not having to squint at the lamp post for 3 minutes now to see snow flakes. Can't remember what that is on Steve's system

Yes it was always looking like Brighton would have this, it was on the borderline of my plots this week, so sad you have it for you, but pleased as I got it right :D

It turned to snow (ish) when the heavier stuff on the radar went by - METO still say heavy...we shall see, I cant see how though with a temp of 1.7 and DP of 1.1

I would say level 7/8 at the moment...looking like we should move to level 9 soon!!!

(About 3-4 cm of lying snow on surfaces...and things getting heavier)

I reckon you are right seeing as 3 miles up the road has snow and we had apparantly had a deep radar echo over us and nada/zilch

Very worrying now I have seen the last radar scan!

The projected time for the East parts of essex / kent was 9.30 - 10.00pm so its still on track. Intensity picking up in Basildon now and the fact that its taken an hour between here and Leigh just shows its slowing as planned.

Will soon be with you.

Jason

Would say level 5 boarding on 6 on Mr Murr's ratings, and it's just the beginning :D

Yeah mate, probably a 7, increases quiote rapidly ponce the deeper stuff arrives, you've got anout 5-10 mins for moderate snow.

Dusting now on the floor, a slight dusting but settling everywhere, including the roads...my profiles very similar to southend but likely a shade cooler temps.

Think we are starting to see the serious stuff now, complete covering with grass in back garden disappearing
