I'd say we are upto a 4 now, its getting slowly heavier but still as someone else said very grainy in nature. Messed up radar isn't helping at the moment but judging by the radar and the arcing of the front, the heavier stuff should be starting to move into W.London. Probasbly still an hour or two for Essex and E.Kent for things to get going

Hope the dog is staying in tonight!! lol

dogs - both huskies, who can survive temps of upto -45, however mine prefer to curl up infront of the fire and when let out in the garden spend most of the time sitting staring at me through the back door!!!!! mild winter so far has seen them both shed their lovely big winter coats!!!!!! however when they see the snow tomorrow we shall have trouble getting them indoors - great times!!!

Rayleigh Weir lol!!

I reckon you are right seeing as 3 miles up the road has snow and we had apparantly had a deep radar echo over us and nada/zilch

Very worrying now I have seen the last radar scan!

Ok things improving now in Ockendon, probably a 5/6 now, starting to see settling snow though its not even a dusting yet. Think its going to be a slow progress but it is getting there folks, the stronger pluse moving through Essex right now seems to herald the slightly heavier stuff.

Paul, you'll probably have another 40-50 mins wait till the heavier pluses arrive to see much mate...its painfully slow but it is getting there mate.

Studying the radar it looks like East Anglia, Essex etc are going to get the heaviest falls. The North Downs and the Chilterns should also do well. Snow band definitely intensifying as it moves East.
