Game over here ,what has fallen is melting ,temp and dewpoint rising and sleet falling

maybe not though Marie - as heavier precip seems to be likely to kick in later this could mean it's snow again and starts to get heavier and stick - this would fit with the profile of what has happened to some people to the west of my temp location tonight in East Brighton. If not then just zip up to Ditchling Beacon in the morning and there will, I expect, be plenty there. I'm quite lucky in that we are hading back home tomorrow where there will I am sure be lying snow, but the latest from the models suggests a cold and sometimes snowy outlook for at least the next week and quite possibly a lot longer than that. So, chin up girl!

Right guys further east of me (Stanford through to Southend) the snow DOES get going quite rapidly once the true heavier pluse arrives, so I'd not worry to much. Settles instatly as well by the way!

It will be here heavy in about 1hr 30 mins or so... you may start to see some flurries in the next 45 mins.... by mid-night you should be starting to get heavy!
