Wish these dew points would rise! Holding at -6.3c, air temp up to -0.5c though.

Fairly wet stuff here now, temp gone up a fraction, but looks like heavier precip moving through so that might help matters a bit.

Seen some bright falshes towards NW London is there thunder ?

Nope. I suspect the flashes are coming from train lines. That said I havent seen or heard a train here for the last hour or so, and I am just yards from the main Metropolitern and Chiltern Railway line. I rarely go more than 5 minutes without a train passing by, which indicates they have stopped the services to this neck of the woods ?

Its been snowing continually here now since around 5.30pm.

Temp: 0.9c ( rising slowly )

DP: 1.1c

Coming down very steady in Guildford now, been sticking to everything except roads for 90mins or so but now the roads are starting to get covered too.

If you are living in Kent you will not see heavy snow until certainly later this evening, probably 23:00 hours onwards and then it will be constant, so please stop panicking over the size of the flakes etc... This is extremely normal with a western snow front, it will intensify over the coming hours and really get going big time early hours of the morning!
