Well everything is wet here now because of the light rain, so it would take some moderate to heavy snow to stick and i can't see that happening tbh! Temp 2.9C dewpoint 0C, temp has really slowed down now and taking a good while to drop!

Drizzle here and 2c and feeling freezing. the NAE looked much more promising at 6am, but even then it was clear that the rain was too far east.

UKMO still decent for next week, GFS not so good, but we still need everything a bit further west. A common theme for the winter this year,

Brum reporting snow now - a westwards movement towards Wales! :clapping:

Temps are much higher here than in Birmingham... I don't think it's going to happen. Certainly not enough to cause disruption and give me an extra day off this half term

think this is going to turn out to be a "non snow" event for pretty much all of Wales

Good grief, this place is grim tonight.

It's a shame, yes, and snow totals and the length of the event have been downgraded and there may be rain and sleet mixed in further East, but no where West of around Bridgend was ever forecast to see snow while the areas originally forecast to see snow are still in the bullseye.

But yeah, this winter has been quite miserable and I can't wait for Spring.

The snow is more or less where it was expected to be at this point as snow is being reported in Birmingham. If it turns to snow in east wales it will be in the early hours or around dawn, so a great deal of patience will be required.

Ye. Grim and boring. According to some posts on the model thread any chance of cold next week seems to have vanished.

Derrick just showed lightening all over wales tomorrow. IT glitch I think
