Could be a flurry of enthusiastic snow posts coming after the next model output :w00t:

will it be hit or miss for our various back yards?

...could do with a 'top-up' here, we're down to our last 2 inches on the grass and the snow chicken is shrinking !

Back from my walk in the countryside, took this picture of a very handsome but cold looking horse in a snow covered field.

oh allright then.... but yours is prettier (-:

lets just hope it doesn't disappear or maybe even arrive in the rush hour because that would not be fun - gotta shift a little further east for a good session of snow for us tho - who knows?

Just what I was thinking. Even in the daytime in sub zero temperatures, he should have a rug on him.

Looks like we'll be chatting amongst ourselves then MK while everyone gets on a downer about the snow being too far west - LOL

I'm not going to give in to all the pessimism, come tomorrow things will change we'll get 'ALL' the snow and when we want it too... and then some more in the following week.

Neck on the line, ready for chop and plenty of hats to eat ... I just don't care..

my hats are made of chocolate. :D

The Met Office have my area at 7c on Sunday. That gives me 3 more days to go out and take some nice wintry photographs. Here is another one I took of Herringfleet Mill yesterday afternoon. Note the frozen water.

Looks like he has a bit of Suffolk Punch in him. No need for a rug really, as long as they have shelter. The worst weather for them is actually driving sleet or rain, it get's under the top waterproof layer of hairs, and that's when they get cold.

Suffolk Punches are a hardy old breed......ours stayed out in the -10c nights of December 2009 and didn't like coming in.

Yes it is part Suffolk Punch without a doubt. And there was a nice big shelter for him.

Doesn't look great for travelling from Luton to the Cotswold's on Friday for a long weekend!!! How much do you think we will get? I reckon it will be worse the further west we travel.

MetO estimates of snow here....
