Seems interesting to me. I agree with teits about this rain/snow band on the radar merging together. I assume that the most eastern band will be dragged in more of a southerly direction.

Also I seem to notice this may produce just as heavy snow as last weekend all be it not as wide area but looks as though quite a fair amount of the SE will see this affect them. I'm unsure of the conditions are right for snow but from the reports it seem on the good side of marginal.

One last thing. It looks great for me in Luton unless I'm reading everything wrong!

Nothing falling in West Suffolk

10 miles SW of you and nothing here either — even though the radar says the darker pink.

Moderate snow now falling. Seems the updated Met O forecast which was released only 1hr ago is already wrong. Very poor in my opinion and could get much worse!

Snow a "little" bit heavier now, very slowly settling on bins, pavement etc.

0 degrees and falling here.

Glad to see you were right yesterday TEITS, things could be good tonight (if snow is what you want) for us, and most of the region for that matter. Edited by Hughsey

Both.

Very tricky to work out this evening. Basically the band of snow to our N is moving S but the band across the N Sea is moving SSW. The further S the band of snow across the N sea moves the more widespread the snowfall will be because it will eventually push SW.

Snow getting heavier, settling everywhere but on the roads.

great to hear it actually exists... :good: very heartwarming - nothing here yet but there's red pixel near Stevenage with our name on it.

Do us a map then teits as to what you think based on how its looking on the radar, albeit a very dodgy radar. precip just disapears into thin air, other precip evaporating before hitting the ground. its a nightmare. Do the metoffice have better radars that we cant see?
