Just plain old rain here, can't see anything stormy coming from this system.

Frequent heavy showers in the last hour and the level in my gauge suggests the wettest day for a long time!

Just hope I see something like the above in the near future. Was a fantastic storm.

What date was that storm? Stunning structure.

Not sure of the exact date. 2008 I think. Was absolutely amazing.

I'm obviously wrong but I thought Jane Louise reported Thunder a few days ago. fool.gif

I'm not in the NSC for sure with three days of reported Thunder heard and/or Lightning already seen this year. The latest date was yesterday and today looks very rainy for me too. I do feel that the radars will make interesting watching but I think I will need some brightness firstly to enable some convection. Perhaps I will go chasing later.

Currently 10.5c AT, 8.8c DP, slowly falling barometer at 975.4hpa, chaotic skies in Newbury, Berkshire.

Cheers

Great Storm, very well organized structure with a classic gust front & whales mouth...it's like looking into the jaws of infinity! laugh.png

Perhaps the NSC to which Jane Louise refers is a completely different club using that particular acronym. rofl.gif

rather than posting all the lovely storm footage in this particular thread, why not create your own thread/s with some narrative?.....At least that way, your footage won't get swamped & lost as this thread is likely to become very busy me thinks biggrin.png

To start the ball rolling for anyone interested, here's the thread I created to showcase last year's May 9th monster storm smile.png
