I think the atmosphere here is about to explode, there is already a large storm to the north of me, a large shower to my south west and there is some pretty serious convection going on.

Plus it is very calm and sticky now with hardly any wind.

Its got very muggy here in the last 5 minutes, and it looks like I'm going to take a direct hit from the Lincoln Cell.

That area to the north of me seems to have lost most of its electrification just in time to graze my area.

Shame..

At this time of year storms should easily be able to sustain until 9pm. I have no idea why things have died off

A thunderstorm about 12 miles north east of here around 1415 g.m.t and then another just 3 or 4 miles to the west half an hour or so later, so close it produced a wide scatter of large raindrops but that was it.

All we managed was a light-moderate shower between 1600 and 1615 g.m.t as the line of storms fragmented.

Looks good for you.

I let myself get suckered in every single time and get left disappointed. I never learn!

Well it's not exactly warm though. Normally at 18:20 we're hoping the temp gets below 75F in Thundery sits. Right now it's 62F here.

Seen it all before....nothing ever happens. Don't allow myself to fall for it anymore. The same old places will get them, and the places that always miss out, will miss out again.

Just been up towards Haworth in the hope of catching the edge of the storms that went through Keighley but there was nothing so decided to have a bit of a walk instead as its a nice area with good views.

Nice evening but some huge towers to my east in a line from north to south and they are moving very very slowly this way.

Apart from one brief shower this morning (and 2 rumbles of thunder, brings my total for the year to 19!!!!!!!!) it's been bloomin' lovely here, plenty of warm sunshine and a scattering of fair weather clouds. Some convection visible but passed well to the west :)
