RP there is a cell which has appeared to the south west of Milton Keynes, it has white on the radar and could be on the way to you also MKSA may be in it's path

You haven't seen Norfolk slugs....they're THIS big!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they have bicycles

Quite scared now. Slugs in Surrey only think they are big and have 4x4s to try to prove it!

John, as ever thanks for the charts but I wish you hadn't as they suggest a warm spell from 21st, excactly when we are away on our GB holiday. I don't have a problem with despair; it's the hope I can't stand!

It's hard to convey your thoughts on a message board and hence it's easy to appear sarcastic, but I'll never disparage anyone's forecast (unless it's stupid, like predicting 6" lying snow for several days, at this time of year)

I thought there would be heavy rain by now here, which is obviously wrong - I don't know what's going to happen for the rest of the night, but it's humid and cloudy here now.

I totally appreciate John's forecasts and I really hope his chart postings come to fruition. I'm optimistic myself of a good late July / August now. My posting above is not to be read as sarcastic.

i am a snow lover but we really need some decent weather now to cheer us

Unfortunately I was out like a light then.

JP was right in that the rain started here soon after he posted. It looks like the band of rain is quite narrow, but heavy; in fact only 5 miles north of me would have collected a lot more than here (flicking through the radar sequence)
