It's stayed dry here .... there was some odd metallic grinding noises coming from the clouds earlier....it was either HAARP or the tap in the sky has rusted...either could explain why it hasn't rained I suppose whistling.gif

lightning activity has all but faded away english weather = dissapointment every time, but it sneaks up on you when your not expecting it.

Unbelievable views of the building storm earlier around 8pm, scud cloud like an american storm, coming right to the ground at times about a mile from where i was standing, I'm almost certain i saw some rotation aswell, I videoed it, I will upload later.....heavy rain now.

Yes I wasnt even aware of any storm forecast today, but looked out the window and noticed the lower base clouds racing in from the east, as you say looked very impressive.

Been chucking it down here now for over an hour, temps fell a few degrees (oC) too since the nice and warm avro temps we had earlier.

Made it through a whole evening at the cricket club with the under 9s without (i) torrential rain (ii) hypothermia (iii) trench foot (iv) wind chill and (v) lightning strikes

Looks like progress!

Well I gave up sky and radar watching for an hour or two to watch Liam Neeson in Taken. 'appen our storms've been bloomin Taken. :D
