another cell developing right overhead. if the last cell is anything to go by itll electrify as it clears north. still thunder to my north from previous cell. its hardly moving! in fact the two cells i mention might be joining together

Same thing has happened that happened yesterday showers close by have left this area in a deep layer of high cloud, looks like game over for here today.

same here, splayed out anvil from liverpool storm has left a sheet of high cloud, no convection here now, just spots of rain making a nice polka dot pattern on the patio, thats the main bout of excitement weather related we will get here today , sorry no more moans off to the NSC to have a good sulk

Raining very large drops now, can hear thunder too, very dark all around, something must be developing

Just a quick check in to say having a great day so far. Caught an awesome funnel near Wetherby at around 1pm and then chased a storm from Harrogate up to Catterick Garrison where i am now. Really bad around Catterick Garrison, two routes out of the town totally blocked by flooding.

Had an amazing thunderstorm about an hour ago, constant thunder and lightning. Can still hear it grumbling away in the distance, either that or it's another storm which would be amazing! Hope there are some more coming?

Looking towards Chester when I was out about 15 minutes ago, was almost daytime darkness....EDIT : Loud thunder!

Manchester having a few inbound delays, saw a Monarch airrcraft punching through the dying layers of a CB earlier and given the lack of aicraft going over since its more than likely MAN are having to deal with the backlog of it all. Looks insignificant on the RADAR but believe me it was dark as night looking that way.

Dark and solid sky to my WSW now. The Chester cell has really developed but it doesn't mean a lot as they seem to decay and then something else pops up.
