Disappointment

Ignore him SM, when we get three MCS's later this month in as many days and the Gloucester area gets its usual zilch. blum.gif

No doubt the EC will kill them in all seriousness. Nevertheless the skies are something to behold. good.gif

Bitterly disappointed with today. We have ended up once again with a featureless dank mid grey carpet of cloud and I can't see anything else happening to change that now. Light rain at best.

Thought today was meant to be stormy!

Almost continuous thunder as that cell moves very slowly away north.

Has been raining here for the last 30 minutes while the sun was still shining, could hear distant thunder before but not seen anything so far. Had something approach my area at tea time yesterday with constant loud rumbles but it fizzled in to a non event as usual.

Sky in South Tyneside is black it looks amazing like. The cell is building on it's back edge and to the east so I have a pretty good time coming up I think!! Good luck to the rest of the storm freaks too! lol

Whats with all the constant moaning? You simply cannot expect to get a storm each time they are forecast. Storms are very unpredictable as I'm sure you are aware. I wish we had storms here too but I dont harp on each time we dont get one.... sorry but had to be said.

Just been through a nasty hailstorm between Birmingham and Coventry on the M6, the traffic was down to 20mph at one point and I didn't have any waterproofs on, needless to say, I'm a bit wet and cold.

Was shockingly heavy and painful on a motorbike.

Nothing overhead at Sandhutton yet but thunder has been frequent to the west for about an hour and a half now- the line of Cb cells has got more impressive with time.
