God dammit, huge storm that was moving NE towards MK has decided to track due north now and sitting to our west by 10 miles, I swear these storms can read read road signs, as soon as they see MK mentioned the head off elsewhere

edit. huge crash of thunder from nowhere, it's building on top of us from the west, nearly pooped my pants then, wasn't expecting it

Absolutely incredible weekend here. Yesterday I saw my first funnel cloud and what a beauty it was. Literally meters off the ground and today, out of the blue a cell has developed overhead with a huge crack of thunder. I am impressed! Do you guys and gals want to see the funnel cloud?

EDIT: This cell is rotating again. Looking out for funnels

Seems to be based on modelled convergence zone....nothing here yet though

Showing up well on latest pressure chart,no wonder things are hardly moving here.

Very heavy rain here in mid essex, almost monsoon type conditions but only one crack of thuder so far.Now appears to be brightening up from the west and so it should stop raining in 10 minutes or so.

A massive shower just passing through Basildon, should be with you soon. Plenty of rain but no sferics, lasted 30 minutes !!

god . its just so boring here, can see the convection to west over west lancs and possibly fylde coast, and heard one solitary distant rumble from it, all gone messy here after promising looking towers, obviously the wigan storm shield is shredding and quashing convection and is reveling in doing so , game over again,

Main storm is towards the west & northwest still, hearing sporadic thunder, but the clouds really do look odd here at the minute, low level stuff moving all over the place and against the southerly wind flow. Seems to die off a little then gains strength in another area close to where sferics are occuring.

Quite a mass of rain over Bristol this morning. Just been in town but it was just very wet and have come back south to Yatton where the sun is poking through. Really need that rain and associated cloud to do one and let insolation do it's business as per yesterday. Some solid cbs out to the southwest at present.
