Under a huge storm right now.Massive booms of thunder

Tyne & Wear is competing with Lincolnshire and southern Scotland as storm capital of Britain this year I think.

Southern Lincolnshire lol Havent had anything of any merit in these parts for a long long time, and dont think that will change today lol

I got rain and a distant rumble of thunder, so I didn't have it !

Infact sun came out, the barbecue went on and I thought that may have brought something my way

the liverpool storm attempted to come too close to the wigan force field, i am sorry but warrington is within its tentacles, hence the shredding and mutilating of that storm to patchy light rain,

Torrential thunderstorm here at the minutes, absolutely pea-sing it down!

That's two storms now in two days! bout time too!

Well that was simply magnificent - a good, old-fashioned summer thunderstorm here in Solihull which lasted at least 45 minutes. Constant loud thunder & lightning, and of course torrential rain.

As a great philosopher once said - lovely jubbly!

Wow what a storm...!! And still pounding away.. One strike was about 150yds away instantaneous thunder.!! I nearly passed oot.!!..Another huge one coming up from Sunderland here we go again..!!

Had this storm for 20mins now. loads of lightning and the thunder is nice and loud. Im just coming to the end of it now. but can still here the booming thunder looks like its heading towards you in bedworth cyclonic happiness.

Brother called me from the M6- says it's chaos on the road with lightning and loads of surface water. Can hear booms of thunder every 5 seconds to my E and NW. Nice and sunny here.

yep, quite loud thunder to my SE, looks to head on for Cannock...seen half a dozen or so lightning flashes so far in the same direction

Thunder! 2 rumbles rumbles about 3 miles away to my north so going away from me. Where did that come from. In Formby now I think.

seems the stuff over Devon & Cornwall is dying as it crosses the Bristol channel !!

Well, the sun is finally out lol.

Maybe it will help. Ive had storm warnings from the internet, local paper and olde bill down the pub, yet nothing ever seems to come here.

The cells down south don't seem to be moving much, and they arn't as potent looking as the stuff further north.

Does anyone know what the the stuff down south is going to do?

Well nothing in Ludlow, had a shower 2 hours ago, but so far nothing interesting this weekend/ year

Picked up some cracking forked lightning on me mobile, I will upload later..
