Wednesday snow event looks on in your eyes then, I will have a better look at things tomorrow, best not after the 18z and very unwise to do so under beer brandy goggles. rofl.gif

One can hope the laminate floor gets it right but the danger as always will be, so close but no c045.gif

Fair play GTLTW, However,Cant help thinking..Whats displayed is not what is going to happen,Beast from the East wants to rinact Jaws,But on a zombie level.Astonishing thing is,That the Cold Europe is at Present getting batterd by Cold and Snow,The only smoke that we will all be applying to our lipps Is full blown. Being an Island we are open to so many options. It will be interesting what this thread is posting by the 15th.

JP, they're just like me after a couple too many, scatter brained. lazy.gif

Best get my coat and call it a night. lazy.gif

define scatter: Verb:

Throw in various random directions:

says it all really.

six days and counting until the meetup, so folks, there is still time to cancel. rofl.gif

I think Joe has 'relative' reason to ramp-

Also in the run up to Xmas- how festive.

I think before the 15th Dec we see X2 more days above 6c...

Hi Steve,

What do you mean, reference the above.

I'm not fully convinced with the snowfest/bitter cold scenario just yet but the momentum is building. clapping.gif

I am keeping an eye on Wednesday when a front slips south and with cold air over us. Could be a surprise for some of us :) Time will tell ofcourse!

-1.5c here under clear moonlit skies.. 4 frosty nights in a row now- how wintry!

In spite of all the hype, stella artois runs and suchlike, what you state above is the key element in the equation, IMO. good.gif

Hell, I wouldn't even write off another December 2010 in January 2013 or whatever as I am convinced we are in a changed climate but at the same time, we must be careful with our expectations. friends.gif

re the cold

i am thinking it will get good but i want to see the proper

cold show in the reliable timeframe

no harm in ramping a bit to keep the thread exciting

i have also noticed on the 120 fax blocking to our east

is looking better againsmile.png

John, indeed caution is needed but all outlooks seem to point to a colder outlook at some point. Easterly looking good for Mid Month if the building blocks continue to fit together. Who knows the vortex may pay a visit to our shores :p

P.S You know things are looking better when you don't have to delve to deep into ensembles to find ramp charts, the op & Control have shown some nice set-ups in recent runs :)

Lovely, charts I like to see!.. Now lets get them to a closer timeframe. Yes we are getting to within a few days of a timeframe where developments then will have a ongoing affect on what we see happening thereafter. All to play for, but cold weather very much favoured.

Awesome! Good to hear :D - Now any photographs would be most welcome for us snow lovers to thrive on lol

shame about tonight

if we could have had a slightly more north easterly flow

and could have tapped into the showers running down the north sea

http://www.severe-weather.co.uk/

after midnight we should have the colder air here

still think yarmouth in the early morning hours could sneak a shower

not too far off then good.gif

We will have to see, there was a little on the cars outside, but just checked, it's gone and it's raining. Strange night, it seems to change its mind every minute or so, snow, sleet, rain, cloudy, misty, clear all in about 5 minutes or so. Well if there is some lying snow when I get up you will be the first to know good.gif
