Temperature not dropping as fast as it did last night 'only' -0.8C here.

Still above freezing here, at 0.7c currently, but it'll get there before I retire to bed.

I love these dry clear nights and days, much more uplifting than that gloom.

Only just over Eleven and Three Quarter million views so I suspect you've seen this but we may well be singing this soon, with extra reasoning.

Early Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday evening all being possible candidates at this stage, judging by JPs updates. I'll probably do a summary about the prospects tomorrow night upon analysis of the 12z once again.

Blimey, my eyes had been taken off tonights action or non-action and unfortunately my longer-term prediction has gone a bit pete tong it seems. Having lost track for a day or two, where is FI right now? I understand, from word of mouth, it currently sits at approximately the 5th December, which intriguingly could be our best shot yet.

What are your thoughts JP?

fi is on the 7th at present too much scatter

i was thinking the gfs main run would be a cold outlier (thick green line)

it isnt and there are colder ensembles

also note the mean temperature drop 5th and 6th
