Well it's been a funny Xmas and birthday as the wife was diagnosed with Pneumonia yesterday which explains why she has not been well since three days before Xmas, hopefully 2013 will be better. Just to cheer me up been watching this camera in Iceland (mums gone there) and dreaming it's my window outsidebiggrin.png

Ps You may have to wait for it to pan around

Miserable here (and rather creepy whilst walking the dog in the woods with the creaking branches and deer eyes watching us). Looks like it's going to be very wet and windy tomorrow....just to make a change nonono.gif . Any cold, clear weather in sight?

Drier weather is on the agenda, come the turn of the year. Whether, it will remain mild (ish) and dry or something colder and drier, we will have to wait and see. good.gif

farnborough park? lol.... wish*

or up by jail lane?

Neither, although, Farnborough Park would be very nice! Up the top of Oaklands Lane, bang opposite woods and loads of farmland. Perfect for picnics in the summer and sledging in (if we ever get it) winter. Also, great for walking the bonkers Springer.......and getting completely coated in mud rolleyes.gif

I wish your wife better Chris, not a very nice Chrimbo present. :( Is she recovering at home?

Today I have been mostly driving through puddles and spending time at Bishop's Stortford. And a very nice day it has been too.

Tomorrow I shall be in Ware. There is no end to my travels these days it seems. :D

Thanks, yes she is at home but if she doesn't improve we have been told to go straight down the hospital.

On a weather note it's raining here although the temperature is rising the wind is taking the edge of the temperature.

Perfect Storm's home town too. Where is he? If he ever complains about not seeing some decent snow again, he's in trouble.

Mind you, what that does show, is how poor it has been for lying snow but I can certainly remember many other years lacking much of the white stuff too. help.gif

Roll on 2013, I think it will be a good one, I can feel it in my flood water. rofl.gif

How strange! ohmy.png

The MetOffice asked anyone to post in their snow measurements and mine was picked!!! biggrin.png

I used a ruler, I'll be honest! The snow did linger across this area and being on a hill, we did have more than the surrounding areas.
