what i find interesting, is that the Meto warnings have recently been updated, yet the snow warning is still in place for areas south of london which are supposedly just getting rain.....

Because the PPN is over Wales and the North West at the moment. Won't make it SE/London till midnight onwards, could accumulate till a couple CM's over night should it not fizzle out over night.

The band following behind should be more interesting.

Thankyou,for that,now i know

Update from Kent Council... Kent County Council â€@Kent_cc

AND if it does snow, is it necessary to drive? Keep a blanket & shovel in case you get stuck. good.gif

I hate the whole "don't travel unless necessary" what counts as necessary? If I run out of hot chocolate and need to go into Tesco before it shuts, would that could as necessary? What if I run out of bread?

As if anyone can afford to aimlessly drive around in this day and age!

'no frivolous driving!'

Listen to yourself fella please. So 'because a few years back' the snow depths of what ever time and space plan you want to go back didn't quite compute and deliver the exact amount in the exact location at the exact time you wanted it........we should all ignore whats actually happening ( or about to happen ) above our heads right now right ?

Just so we can be clear on this.

Sorry Mods. Had a lovely day out taking photos of actual weather stuff and I somehow knew the same old broken records would crop up throughought the day and try and spoil it.

Well I'll try and post my photos later.. Ive had a .....hic.....winter warmer

Despite what happens tomorrow, rain or snow, Monday night is looking interesting for us. Many of us could get some decent snow as the low pulls away into the southern North Sea and the wrap around of NE'rly winds set in. Latest BBC forecasts show snow moving back in for us.
