Although mostly graupel rather than decent sized flakes - its just starting to show signs of settling with the occ heavier burst

As before, temps still slowly reducing - now at +1.2c

It's been snowing here in Sittingbourne on off for a couple of hours. Some reasonable flakes too so that precip is correct on the radar for us here

mmm looking good I hope. I'm no weather man, just love the snow lol, but it proves one thing which all the pros on here have said. Dont get hung up on every run. Just settle down with your choosen radar and enjoy drinks.gif

I can see the darker cloud in the distance to my west that will be giving you those snow flurriessmile.png Here the sun is out, but signs that cloud is also gathering to my north as well

My, how things change, predicted precip for 2pm here:

If that continues down towards Battle...........perfect!!

Should be snowing here according to the radar but we've got nothing.

Anyway, here's an image from the latest BBC video forecast.

Is it just me that hates their graphics?

Its like they were designed to be ambiguous -- perfect if you are not really sure about the precip type!

I find it better to sort of see where the weather is coming from as to which thread its best to look into. For example, if we are getting weather from the NW direction, its not a bad idea to see what the members in the East Midlands are seeing. From the East, we are in the EA thread and when weather is coming in from the South, best to look to the London thread as to what is coming.
