Sorry guys but IMO South West will be outa the snow for next week, just watched BBC 5 day and it's all about the East sad.png damn cold but non of the white stuff.....

Ignore everything snowise from Wednesday onwards, models struggle to see areas such as PPN around that point. Hence the NAE High res model.

I think I should probably just give up looking.

Models... UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE.....

Yet no snow will ever come from it.

Im usually quite confident of the models, but they are all consistently wrong at the moment.

I'm noticing an intensification of the ppn over Wales over the last 2 frames , would seem plausible

ppn looks a bit more intense and organised on the radar now. Can we get a few flakes in Bristol?

Well I would say it is a good sign if the cornish are reporting snow... good.gif

Keep an eye out in next half hour to an hour it seems the light ppn is just about upon you...

Exactly. In these situations, where the cold is established; look out for phrases like 'we're keeping an eye on this little feature', or similar from the beeb. That'll be where your snow comes from.

Still coming down but more grainy now, can anyone with access to radar, models etc... see if we should expect more?

Many thanks. :)

Not good for us here in frome, all petering out on the radar and moving around us. I expect nothing this evening now and rain tomorrow as NBC forecast. Maybe hope in the week?

Hi Offerman,

Maybe some hope for Frome, check Raintoday, has Frome for snowgrains at 21:00, then light snow for 22:00

No not all, I am pretty gobsmacked to be honest!

Sadly it' s more like sleet now and is not showing signs of settling.

We had none at all last year so this is good for my fix though!!!
