Light sleety rain here in Solihull for the past hour or so, disappointing since the DP is still below zero.

HOWEVER, in the past five minutes we suddenly have snow, getting heavy as well - YAY!!!

Met Office have now upgraded the sleet to light snow for 3pm here. Fingers crossed that's true!

Stuck in an office with no windows, so can't comment on the snow here. Pretty frustrating!

I can assure you there is more snow being added tothe last two nights covering. From Loughborough where the tiny flakes are slowly getting bigger.

Huge dumping North of Brum !!!

Sleet turned to snow in Brum city centre and it's been heavy wet snow for the last 30 minutes. It's not settling but it's nice to see after the rain earlier! Presumably it turned to snow as the heavier precip arrived over Brum as shown on the radar. Those further east in tr regionshould do very well out of this band!
