Yeah Mapperley/Sherwood has a bit more altitude so I bet its worse up there. I do wonder if this will turn back to rain as the front moves east - guess we'll see...

im in calverton and thats low down and its realy heavy roads are getting bad

Birmingham seems to be on the wrong side of the snow line heavy rain nw with slush on grass so near!

Rain here now and what little lying snow there was is rapidly thawing. Shame but that's us done and (not really) dusted for now. Now looking at the end of the week.

This is absolutely awesome, just got home from work and took a video of the snow while I was riding along, i'll upload it to Youtube later. It's been snowing continuous now since 9:30am and has been in 50p flake size for the past 35 mins. Must be about 4-5cm on the grass now on top of the 1-2cm from last night.

What are the roads like mate? My Girlfriend works in Whitwick and i'm wondering if she should head home early before it gets worse.

Woke at 3am & we had a few CM's. Was raining at 7am and has been since Shame it couldn't have stayed as rain, would've been a good covering then Oh well, at least I've seen snow this winter now!!!!
