Browsing around regional threads.

TBH, not looking great.

Most of the blob appears to be anaprop (precip that isnt really there or is so light it fizzles before hitting ground)

NO reports of anything from EA where the blob has been overhead for some for more than an hour.

Its apparently on the north kent coast as well, eg Ramsgate, but even the keenest snow watchers report "something in the wind"...

From the NW front, Mids thread reports a whopping 3-4mm of snowfall.

And I think it' be weaker by the time it reaches us, assuming it will do as progged and actually does ;(

nope as it is traveling NNE then it turns N so the stuff to the top still has to move NNE before it turn N which will put it over land before it turns then down to me. come on my pretty come to me lol

The heavier stuff is behind the first lot we just have to wait.

Anyone to the West of London reporting anything?

Nothing to report from this part of West London!

Tomorrow morning? The rain isn't due to hit us until tomorrow afternoon when the 2nd front moves in....

The aviation forecasters at the Met have the next front projected to cross Gatwick at 11am onwards based on the latest data and thats currently showing as rain with the possibility of a rain/snow/sleety mix continuing until about 5-6pm thereafter clearing.

Surely it could add or aid pepping it up? Or divert the Front I don't know :/

I doubt it'll divert the front, but the PPN could pep up. The most likely outcome though is for the Westward movement to stop as thick cloud ahead of the front starts pushing it back East.

No one seems to be reporting snow though, so I'm starting to wonder whether its even there?!

I am sooo jealous of the Kent contingent! Might I add that there are a lot of Kent-based folk on here. Am I the only SW Londoner? (On my own, with not the tiniest flake of snow....)

Am brentford isleworth borders, west lond, so not too far from u!

That PPN band coming down from the north is completely dead. Lucky to see anything from that in our corner. Convective showers east of Kent are going south and will not make it far inland.

Not being scrooge guys just don't want too see people getting their hopes up only to come down with a bang!

Mmmmmm.....I am throwing the towel in.

The front moving in from the west is dying if not alredy dead. Any precipitation during the day tomorrow is likely to be rain and then if this turns to snow in the evening it is unlikely to stick.

Even the Wednesday event has been downgraded and is increasingly looking like being just a slack flow.

Think I need a break from Netweather, watching loads of charts out into lala land does not make it happen unfortunately! Luckily I am skiing in 6 weeks, can get my snow fix then.

Same here, although house roof has a cover of something, maybe frost, or my dodgy eyes. Just went outside, vv cold, but no sign of any snizzle or rain or snow. Just four foxes looking at me expectantly. Think they'd prefer it not to snow!
