does anyone known when conditions should become less marginal?

if this precip had landed on us after 14:00 i think we could have been okay. It's just arrived a little too early. :(

less marginal? late afternoon 16:00.

Missing a trick there, the Special Edition one with a hint of chilli is much better!

tweet from Tesco:

There are going to be some icey roads this week. Book a FREE sight test at Tesco Opticians and be safe!

Anything to make money eh?

Shame they don't offer spelling tests..... icy, anyone?!

mega_shok.gif I can't believe how big these snow flakes are! Golf ball size and sticking to everything. Never seen anything like it and shows how marginal things are at the moment. Temp 0.8 DP 0.1.

Had half an hour of sleety stuff before turning back to these humungous flakes.

Its not that marginal, just not really settling that well but can't complain really biggrin.png

Still sleety here at the office in W10. Quite keen to hear more from Barnet, Harrow etc as the conditions there are likely to be more like those back home in Ealing. I would ring my son, but as he is at nursery over there I'm not sure he would be a reliable source biggrin.png

Snow will turn readily to rain south of the thames. snow tonight for anybody south of the thames and just east of london out to the coast. possible accumalations of 2 or 3 cms. light snow showers filtering in of the coast on tuesday, possible heavier shower, wednesday chance of little more organised snow but only slight accumalations.

I am based in north west kent and i forsee our best chance of snow and snow cover from the tail later this eve
